With 6 years of experience managing wingfoil and kite schools in La Ventana, Mexico, and Italy, Emily brings a strong background in watersports, hospitality, and small business management. Her 10+ years in the hospitality industry have shaped her focus on creating a welcoming, organized experience for every student. As Manager and Co-Owner, she keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. A kite and wingfoil enthusiast herself, Emily takes every opportunity to get out on the water when she can. 

Ilaria is a VDWS-certified wingfoil, kite, and windsurf instructor with over 10 years of teaching experience. She has been immersed in wind sports since the age of 8 and has been wingfoiling for 6 years. With a degree in Sports Education and a background in competitive wind sports, she combines technical knowledge with a personalized approach to coaching. As Head Instructor at Baja Wing & Watersports, Ilaria loves helping riders of all levels progress, build confidence, and enjoy their time on the water.

Jim has been passionate about wind sports for over 15 years, with experience in kitesurfing, kitefoiling, wingfoiling, and parawinging. Originally from Canada, he spent many years working in the ski industry and has been coming to La Ventana with his family for the past 8 years. An experienced wingfoiler, Jim enjoys teaching riders of all levels and brings a calm, supportive approach to every lesson. When he’s not teaching, you’ll often find him out on the water working on his own riding, including some freestyle for fun.

Originally from San Luis Potosí, Mexico, Majo moved to La Ventana in 2025 and quickly fell in love with the active lifestyle and community. She has been a certified international fitness instructor for 5 years and a personal trainer for 2 years. Passionate about training, movement, and anything that keeps her active, Majo brings great energy and enthusiasm to the team. When she’s not working with clients or training at the gym, you’ll usually find her outdoors, enjoying the ocean and everything that makes life in La Ventana so special.
